Proverbs 31:20 Ministries is blessed to share another story of one woman's success. We have been working with "M" through a very difficult season. Her children were removed from her home 18 months ago, due to a perceived unsafe environment. "M" wanted to be a good mother to her children, but she was failing to manage her life and her family well, and she struggled with addiction.
While her children were spread out among various foster homes, "M" participated in C.O.R.D.S., and individual counseling through Proverbs 31:20 and other agencies. The ministry walked alongside her through court visits and meetings with social workers. With the Lord's help, she was able to break her addiction, and she learned how to plan and care for her children.
The children were recently reunited with their mother and returned home just in time for the new school year. Through the generous gifts of many donors, "M's" kids were among the nearly 500 who received backpacks and school supplies from Proverbs 31:20 this fall.
The Lord blesses us with her success, as we continue to walk with her and help bridge the gap to provide for their physical needs, as well as continued encouragement and counseling.
